A very cool pair of 12″ K. Zildjian hats dating to the late 1940s (Stamp Type IIA). Crisp and dry, and really smooth. Moderate-heavy patina, withsix cracks radiating from the top mounting hole, andone crack radiating from the bottom mounting hole. These cracks should absolutely be monitored closely to prevent the condition from worsening. With a bit of care, these really special hi-hats still have a lot of love to give.
