• Details & Notes: Go big or go home, this larger than life single tension field drum “Levon Helm” style kit is perfect for your blues, classic rock, or dixieland gigs. Deep and low even tones make this kit boom and fill a room with rich tone reminiscent of the 20’s and 30’s. Each drum is built from a field drum consisting of a 10×14 Leedy & Ludwig single tension snare, a 14×16 single tension Ludwig snare, and a Ludwig 14×30 single tension bass drum. All the field snares havehad all snare mechanisms removed for authentic tom conversion. Modern bass drum spurs have been put on the bass drum to stabilize it due to the size. Bass drum head is hand painted locally in the style of 20’s and 30’s Swing inspired art.
