V-Drums Quiet Design represents a revolutionary leap in home drumming, offering the lowest playing noise ever achieved in an electronic drum kit. Built on decades of Roland testing and innovation, the V-Drums Quiet Design systemincluding pads, stands, and pedal basesworks seamlessly to minimize in-home playing noise and vibration transfer, without compromising the feel or response of your drumming. Noise is reduced by an incredible 75% compared to a standard V-Drums kit, which was already the quietest in the industry.

The CYQ-12 cymbal pad is designed with a noise-absorbing honeycomb rubber insert and a mesh covering. Precision-engineered vents on the underside of the playing surface allow air pressure to escape, further minimizing noise. Additionally, the plastic components are isolated with soft rubber material to absorb vibrations. The versatile CYQ-12 functions as both a crash and ride pad, providing a natural swinging motion along with independent bow and edge triggers. It can also be used for hi-hat playing in conjunction with the quiet FD-9 control pedal.
