- Brand New Cymbal. Since the early days of our humble shop, Badges has partnered with Bosphorus Cymbals in commissioned tributes and specialty off-menu items. We are happy to once again announce a batch of very special tribute cymbals that pay homage to the old A & K Zildjian cymbals played in the golden era of Jazz. These cymbals feature variations of lathing, hammering, profiles, and patinas to achieve both uniqueness and tonal balance between cymbals. This cymbal is a tribute to Old K’s of the 60’s and 70’s, many of which were in heavier weight ranges. The cymbal features a prominent wide bell, high profile, and eight rivets.
