• Brand New Cymbal. This lovely 18″ is a heirloom one-off specially created for us by the brilliant masters at Bosphorus to evoke the sound of classic jazz cymbals of the past. This cymbal was inspired by the famous 18″ Formula 602 flat ride played by Roy Haynes with Chick Corea, but with a more traditional Turkish approach. Rather than producing the classic crystalline ping of Roy’s cymbal, this tribute is dry, thin, and opens up with a quick exotic crash while still producing an unmistakably clear stick.
