The Sole Line from Meinls Artisan Edition Series delivers the ultimate expression of craftsmanship, tone, and playability. Hand-built in Spain, this line showcases stately finishes and meticulous construction inspired by master cajon builder Jos “Pepote” Hernndez Diaz.

At the heart of the Sole cajon is a carefully engineered 9-ply, 12mm Baltic Birch resonating body, chosen for its balanced warmth, projection, and punch. Internally, two sets of five pre-tuned metal micro-coiled strings run across the playing surface. These hand-wound strings provide sensitive snare articulation with crisp response. A built-in bass reflex system enhances the low-end, offering deep, resonant bass tones without sacrificing clarity.

The ergonomically rounded frontplate features thumb notches and a convex playing surface, maximizing both comfort and dynamic control. Specially formulated rubber feet stabilize the cajon while isolating vibrations for improved tone. Elegant heat-branding on the body adds a visual signature to this exceptional instrument.
