Meinl 22″ Indian Premium Wind Gong

The Meinl Sonic Energy Indian Premium Wind Gong (IG1) is made by hand in India using a special bronze alloy. These flat-shaped gongs are also known as Feng or Sun Gongs. Their flat design allows the vibration to spread wide and last long. The sound is low-pitched, but when playing the gong louder, it expands wonderfully with wave-like overtones. You’ll notice the lovely hand-engraved mantra “Om mani padme hum” as soon as you look at the gong. It is the mantra of loving compassion known to lead you to enlightenment.
