Made with steam-bent shells, maple inlay, tube lugs and triple flanged hoops. 8×12″ mounted tom, 14×14″ floor tom, and 14×18″ kick drum, and matching 6.5×14 snare, all with proprietary hybrid edges – rounded on the outside (60’s Gretsch) with a 45 degree at the apex, sloping inward. All original, in excellent+ to near mint condition. Its hard to beat Craviotto for quality of tone, tuning range, and richness of tone. Blackwood has a full spectrum of tone with a sparkling top end but with the warmth of mahogany on the low end, and many similarities to koa wood. With appropriate head choices and tuning these drums work beautifully in nearly all musical situations, even with an 18″ bass drum. Don’t miss the rare and highly unique solid shell kit!
