Gretsch 12/14/18″ Drum Set – 1970s Satin Natural – Refin

A beautiful mid-1970s Gretsch kit in bop sizes, refinished in satin natural maple. The kit features an 8×12, 14×14, and original 14×18 bass drum. The refinish job was done quite well – we believe it was done quite some time ago, and the current condition is excellent+. All the drums were originally outfitted with 70’s Sonor mounts. The original thin era shells are in great structural condition, and the edges are original. The 12″ tom has original lugs and hardware, whereas the bass drum and floor tom has mostly newer Gretsch parts and diecast hoops. These drums have round clear tone, and are more naturally open than their 60’s counter parts, with a very nice natural decay. The Sonor parts make the kit more user friendly than the same Gretsch parts from the era. NOTE: 10″ tom in first photo is NO LONGER INCLUDED.
