In 2007, Johnny Craviotto and Adrian Kirchler began a legendary collaboration that result in some of the most beautiful, functional, and sonically stunning snare drums ever createdthe Masters Metal series. Though Johnny is no longer with us, the co-operative relationship between AK and the Craviotto Drum Company remains strong to this day. The drum is in excellent+ to near mint condition.
This 6.5×14″ nickel over brass snare is from the first run of drums made with Adrian’s meticulously crafted shells and built out with diamond-base tube lugs, branded Trick GS007 throw-off, tirple flanged hoops, and Craviotto snare wires. This drum has been championed by drummers like Chad Cromwell, Matt Chamberlain, Chad Smith, Ronnie Vannucci, Abe Laboriel Jr., and many others.
