A new Craviotto maple drum set (No. 1119) made in Nashville, TN in 2024 with steam-bentsingle-ply shells, tube lugs, triple flanged hoops, and no bass drum mount. It features Craviotto’s hybrid bearing edge, which is rounded to the outside, with an angled interior cut. 8×10″, 8×12″ rack toms, 14×14″ and 16×16″ floor toms, and 14×20″ kick drum. This kit sounds warm and a bit dry. As rich, warm, and punchy as it gets.
It’s no secret that we have a special place in our hearts for Craviotto drums. Not only are they some of the most well-crafted, visually stunning, and sonically versatile drums ever made, but our close personal and business relationship with Johnny Craviotto goes back to the early 2000s, and his legacy lives on through the current quality and craftsmanship evident in these remarkable drums.
“Maple is the standard tone wood for Craviotto. It was Johnny’s favorite species and can do it all. You’ll love the rich tone, mid-range projection, and timeless beauty.
This innovative [hybrid bearing] edge combines contemporary and classic concepts and creates a sound, response, and feel that maximizes the warmth of our solid shells.“
