Gretsch 5.5×14″ Renown Snare Drum – Red/Ebony Harlequin

A late 1950s/early ’60s Gretsch 5.5×14″ Renown Model snare drum. Eight lugs, Renown-strainer with original snare wires, single-flanged hoops with mini claws. Silver sealer interior, pre paper-tag. The harlequin finish is rarely seen, and rarely in good condition. This one has a few small scratches here and there, and age-typical scuffing and wear on the chrome. Swampy and nasty sounding with a nice translucence in the tone.
