Since the early days of our humble shop, Badges has partnered with Bosphorus Cymbals in commissioned tributes and specialty off-menu items including homages to old A & K Zildjian cymbals played in the golden era of Jazz. These cymbals feature variations of lathing, hammering, profiles, and patinas to achieve both uniqueness and tonal balance between cymbals. This cymbal is a tribute to drumming great, Art Blakey, featuring a wider low profile bell, an antique patina finish, and is drilled for an array of rivets in tribute to Blakey’s famous ride cymbal. Fourteen split end rivets are installed, and can be removed or added based on your preference.
