VINTAGE 1920s-30s Ludwig Trap Kit in Black Diamond Pearl with 5×14 Universal Snare Drum
- Details & Notes: A beautiful late 20’s or early 30’s Ludwig trap style kit complete with a 14×28 single tension bass drum in black diamond pearl, a 5×14 Universal model chrome over brass snare drum with stand, 10″ Chinese tacked tom, two tone wood block/triangle holder unit, suspended cymbal and mount, clanger with pedal attachment, bass drum pedal, and hi-hat stand with brass hi-hats. This kit is in excellent shape with all core components being completely original. Typical signs of age and use are present. There is a notch out of the front bass drum hoop which has produced a horizontal crack. Calf heads are in great condition, and the snare plays with an old timey dream. The small crash cymbal and clanger cymbal are not original to the kit, and were added for completion. The small crash has a slight crack, but functionals as should. While this kit is very much a “showpiece” it is very much a functional, and impressive sounding instrument.
