The PD-14DSX comes standard with every V-Drums 7 Series kit. When used alongside the powerful V71 module, this advanced snare pad delivers the most realistic electronic drumming experience available, featuring ultra-precise positional sensing and over 16,000 velocity variations across the entire playing surface. Its multi-sensor trigger system and high-speed digital communication capture every subtlety, from powerful strikes to delicate touches. Automatic hand position detection allows effortless transitions between headshots, rimshots, and cross-sticks.

The newly designed pad offers a natural aesthetic and feel, with a rubber hoop set within a triple-flange rim and rim height that matches a standard acoustic snare. It also includes a throw-off mechanism, allowing you to quickly turn the virtual snares on or off with a flip of the lever, while the strainer knob lets you adjust snare tension with ease. Additionally, the knob features a button for controlling assignable functions in the module.
